It doesn't matter if I am a featured author or a reader at a con, I always come away from an event knowing more about the industry. This year at AAD, I sort of came to a few realizations. For one, perhaps I need to tighten my focus. I write everything because nobody told me I couldn't, and sometimes a story calls for a specific pairing. I shall spend my fall thinking about what I want to do with the rest of my career. Until then, I plan to finish a few works in progress before consulting a clean slate.

I had originally planned to set up a short series, like a serial, spurring from a story I wrote for Coming Together. "...And Lily Makes Three" is M/F erotica, written for Through the Storm. To be honest, halfway into the second story I didn't like the direction of the characters and arc. I hate to excise words, but sometimes it is necessary, and in this case I made the difficult decision of leaving the first story in its revised form. Also, because it is under 7,000 words I have made it a free download.

Get ...And Lily Makes Three free at AllRomance.com and Smashwords. There are no plans to upload elsewhere, because it's truly a pain to make something permafree on certain retailers.
